The history of chocolate is based on ancient times. It was used in the production of a beverage consumed on special occasions by Maya and Aztecs exactly 4 thousand years ago. Chocolate started to be heard with the transportation of Christopher Columbus to Europe during the geographical discoveries. In the Aztec and Mayans, only people of high emerald could drink the beverage made of chocolate. Ordinary people, on the other hand, could not drink without a very special situation. Cocoa, which was consumed bitterly as a beverage in the early days, started to become a different taste in the 1700s when the British added milk to it.
